Sub stats % roll is 1- flat roll is 1/2 typically

Atk 5% or 40
Def 6% or 50
Hp 5% or 700
CR 3%
CD 6%
ER 5%
EM 20

Good build: 23-27 rolls
Very good build: 28-32 rolls
Godly build: 33+ rolls

Not included but likely helpful.
5 star 3 sub lines max potential: 40
5 star 4 sub lines max potential: 45
CD- Godly, CR- Very good if under 100% Atk- Good, I think around 2, 000 is ideal.
ER- please build based on your character rotation, it is a needed stat.

My Ayaka was at 270 crit damage and 1700 attack. Although it felt wrong. Switching from a bad crit damage hat to an attack crown with 40 crit value, was a nice damage bump.

Went through my characters and there is definitely room for improvement for basically all of them. I did manage to crack the 33+ godly hackermans DEV MODE tier with two characters. Raiden Shogun with 33 and Xiangling with 37. Very proud of both builds!

I basically already watched most of your videos but I already knew what you were going to say the most advanced thing i know about maximizing was counting the crit value, which i learned by myself, but what you showed in this video I had never seen, it changed my game a lot now, I'm already at a point where I literally only farm artifacts and it really helped me thank you

i always followed the basic rules of:
dps/sub dps should have at least 50:100 + the desired kit stat (def for noelle f.e.)
supports should have the needed/desired 4pc bonuses/main stats
that already helped a lot but this guide is also very helpful to maximize your teams potential, especially in end-game and abyss floor 12! a flawless rotation and solid artifact synergy between team members is crucial to make your team go from strong to deadly.

It would be a little more accurate to add up the total value for each substat across all artifacts before dividing into rolls.

I always just focusing on Crit value only, maybe sometimes ATK% also. But seeing your calculations is a refreshing way to evaluate an artifact value

I'd love to see more! The interaction between characters, artifacts, substats, weapons and team roles are soo much fun to explore. How does weapon and ascension stat interact with weapon substat? Or when to use ATK%/ER% sands? Which values to aim for? Do substats matter depending on the role of the character and on which artifact it is? SOOOO many questions haha
