The China-built MSC Tessa, the world's largest container ship, is about to sail on its maiden voyage starting from the Ningbo Zhoushan Port in east China's Zhejiang Province. The massive ship awaits to be refueled at the port, with a refueling ship standing by with 2,000 tonnes of high-sulfur fuel oil. The vessel was independently designed by the Chinese shipbuilder Hudong-Zhonghua and will operate between Ningbo port in China and Rotterdam in the Netherlands. The MSC Tessa is nearly 400 meters long with a deck area equivalent to four full-sized football fields and can carry 240,000 tonnes of cargo.
