Kallie Moore attended Kansas City Kansas Community College (1 year) and Emporia State University (B.S.) where she majored in Earth Science and Minored in Paleontology. While in school, Kallie was involved in the Earth Science Club and did a summer internship and a senior thesis. Since 2008, Kallie has worked as the Collections Manager ("Fossil Librarian") of the University of Montana Paleontology Collection. During her time at the University of Montana she took various classes as a non-degree seeking grad student. And as of 2017, she has been a Science Communicator, hosting and content consulting for PBS Eons! Kallie also has a debut book which comes out this fall "Tales of the Prehistoric World". Kallie’s higher education path included going from high school to community college and then transferring to a 4-year institution.

I’m 19, and I’m currently in the process of switching colleges. Paleontology has always been a dream career of mine. I love animals, both living and extinct, and any career I could have that involves working with them or studying them is something I’d be always wanted to do. I’m making the decision on what courses my college provides to take, and this is helpful! Thanks, and I hope one day I’ll be able to be part of the field!

Thank you for this info dear ❤️. But the country I hail from has a very poor science education and overall education, leave paleontology aside. I had an active interest in that but ended up being in business school. Now I m 23 though still have an active interest in dinos, fossils, paleontology as I always had. Could never convince my single parent to study as per that now I have a different qualification. Wish and pray I could make my way into it someday 🙏.

I'm 12 and prehistoric life has captured my interest for years. I don't know exactly what my life will be like when I'm older but paleontology is definitely one of my top options. I find videos like this very helpful so thanks

Paleontology sounds so cool but ik it's more than just looking at cool fossils so it's probably not for me. I'll just go to museums to see their work
