I think people fundamentally misunderstood this fight. Radahn is such an absolute gigachad that he does not gank you, you must gank him. You are his Ornstein and Smough because he is the mightiest of the Demigods. Malenia needed the power of an Outer God that fucked her up just to have a draw with him.

I get the hitbox nerf, as those were at times purely ridiculous and introduced (most likely) unintended occurances, such as occasional undodgeable combos. All of the other nerfs were dumb and excessive, though.

I just cannot understand why they Nerfed him in the First Place. Pretty Sure Malenia was still more hated. Was it because Underleveled Newbies complained he was too strong? Man this is literally my Favourite Boss in this Game and they just had to turn him into a punching Bag.

Man, the disappointment when you're so excited and you finally fight him only to find out that he got nerfed. I keep hearing that this boss is brutal so when I defeat him 1st try, I know that there's something wrong.

Mate this video is super misleading, you are dealing about 800 damage with the halberd as opposed to 300 with the rapier. That’s not a basis for a good comparison of HP.

Honestly on an optional boss with infinite npc summons the nerf was not needed. You could do the whole fight on torrent and just summon NPCs without ever touching Radhan and still win.

Melenia is simply unfair at times, the fact that she can regen hp even when hitting a shild is just bs. But Radahn didn't need such a huge nerf in my opinion. The build up, the arena, the music, everything is perfect and epic....then i killed him with 5 charged swings of my greatsword. It felt disappointing

Glad I fought him literally a day before the nerf hit. Fight wasn't too tough given I was on a level 70 character with summons, but it still felt appropriately climactic given his position as the beginning of "midgame". Fought him recently solo with a level 40 Bandit straight off of Godrick, and he really didn't stand much of a chance. Such a shame too, since he's an awesome character lorewise.

Before I got to radahn I heard about how he was one of the hardest and coolest bosses and when I heard of his nerf I didn’t think much of it, but after getting to fight him for the first time it was post nerf and I beat him in 3 tries, so sad that I couldn’t battle the strongest demigod in his strongest form, felt I was being ripped off

Could we talk about how you have no great rune active and a completely different, likely lower level weapon during the pre nerf footage but you do have Godrick's great rune active and an overall better weapon post nerf?
