Merrell Moab 2 Tactical Boots are built to take on any mission. Constructed with ripstop nylon uppers with waterproof PU coated leather and a reinforcing, polymer overlay around the ankle area. Merrell’s M Select DRY membrane seals out water and lets moisture escape to keep your feet dry. The Kinetic Fit EVA countered footbed and zonal arch and heel support keep your feet comfortable all day. The Vibram® TC5+ rubber outsole provides a strong grip on a variety of surfaces, with durable construction to stand up to tactical ops. Other features include speed laces and an abrasion-resistant rubber toe-cap.

These are very comfortable boots, but they are not one bit waterproof. I wear mine for duty wear and have exposed them to many different wet environments. They have leaked and soaked my feet. They leak when walking in wet grass, walking in puddles, light rain, and heavy down pours. My feet got damp, wet and/or soaked each time. When I contacted the company they told me they are really not waterproof, but "top down" water resistant. They told me to treat mine with a waterproof-er they sold to make them more water replant. Its a real shame because they are very comfortable, but not one bit waterproof.
