I just bought these in the desert color variety. Awesome boot so far right out of the box!! Fit my arch perfectly and other features i like besides the zipper and vibram sole is the heel cup! Some boots and shoes your heel can lift up a bit while in motion. These keep them tight to your heel and feet without being too tight if that makes any sense. Sizing is spot on! I am normally a lowa boot guy especially the zephyrs or z6s boots but they are not available locally where i live but i saw these not expecting to purchase but once i tried them on i didn't want to take them off my feet lol so i bought them! I had been told merrels leak but only time will tell if thats true for these..? I would hope not especially if our troops are wearing them. Also i want to Thank all the US troops for your service!! Without you guys and gals we couldn't enjoy our daily lives! Stay safe! God bless!

Just picked up a pair at Dick's Sporting Goods, they look great. Hope I have a great experience.

These boots are water resistant, not waterproof. I wore them today coming home biking in a torrential downpour and the water went right thru them quickly. It's ok for some dew on grass, or a light splash but M-Dry is not a waterproof liner like Goretex. Otherwise these are pretty light and comfortable boots.
