Hobonichi 2023 lineup reveal - my reaction!

I love hearing your insights on the hobonichi releases! I like the 2023 lineup as well. I’m using my juicy grapes nuance as my everyday carry with no issues. I use the striped page keeper with the yellow band so I have no issues writing on the pages and the book closing up.

Amazing! Yes I love that one with the fruit too…but this year I did more of the Mina perhonen splurge. I’m a zip cover fan for years and years ever since an old Franklin covey in the 1990s 😆 so took the plunge in two this year. Ohayo a6 and choucho a5

I too tried on the multiple Weeks to justify getting some really cute ones for this year. What a waste of money. BUT. I am going to use them as plain notebooks and just write over all the dates ignoring them. Thankfully Hobonichi has that special subtle printing shade that is not obnoxious like most. I'm getting the A5 Velluto. The green is so gorgeous! And sidenote, it's so fun to hear people say those Finnish names: Hedelmäpuu and Mänty :D You aced them!

The rabbits are the shape that's like a peach. There are two of them with their noses together and bums up. You can see the ears on the one on the left. It is not very clear, though and it took me awhile of staring at it to see them.

I was disappointed this year as nothing grabbed me. I do need a weeks. The pine tree maybe but a little worried about the white. I will likely wait until I can get the Fujiko Museum collab on resale.
