MSIA Founder John-Roger shares that We Are Made in the Image of God
How do we discover who we truly are inside? MSIA (the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness) teaches Soul Transcendence — becoming aware of yourself as a Soul and as one with God, not as a theory but as a living reality. Your Soul is who you truly are; it is more than your body, your thoughts, or your feelings. It is the highest aspect of yourself, where you and God are one.
MSIA offers an approach that focuses on how to incorporate spirituality into our everyday life in a tangible, workable way. We call it “practical spirituality.” It’s using everything in our life to expand and grow in a way that allows us to relate to the world from the inside out, from our loving center, and to explore the nature of our true essence as a Soul.
For over 50 years, MSIA founder John-Roger devoted his life to being a Wayshower for others to find Spirit within themselves and demonstrate how to live life in greater loving, happiness, and peace. J-R’s humor, joy, and unconditional loving embraced and touched people around the planet. His good works continue on, guiding those studying the path of Soul Transcendence.
John Morton inspires and educates people around the world on the teachings of the spiritual heart and recognizing the blessings in all situations. He serves as Spiritual Director of MSIA, anchors the Mystical Traveler Consciousness and guides those on the path of Soul Transcendence. John is an accomplished author, masterful facilitator, and loving friend to all.

J-R: Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you! It’s in the simple meaning, God loves every one of us. So it's time for all of us to gird up our loins and take fresh courage and know that our Lord is the Lord of Love and creation, and He's with us, and we've got to get with Him. When I was younger, I remember walking around saying, you know, ‘What's this? What's going on?’ And saying, ‘What's God? Where is God? What's God? What does God do that I know there's a God?’ And just asked all sorts of questions, until I was willing to do almost anything just to have my mind leave me alone. And so all that happened to me was He strengthened me. I may be more of a fit companion to walk with my eyes on the Lord. And made me fit to be a companion with those around me so I can walk with my eyes on them. And to hold ‘em close and to hold ‘em near. And I find out that love became real and life giving and living and that love was taking me where love wanted to go. And it wanted me to go where there was love.
Wouldn't it just be terrific that right in this moment we'd think, “Glory to the World, the Lord has come. Let Earth receive its own King, the King of glory, of Light, of Sound, the Prince of Peace who came with the sword of separating that which is not working from that which works.” When we are willingly giving up to the purpose of the Lord, not knowing often what the purpose is, but somehow finding within us the ability to trust in that that appears to not have trust, to be willing to believe in that that shows no effort or sign of being believable, and bringing it back to each one of us individually, once again, that you were made in the image of God and that Spirit. And that's where we're coming forth and that's where we're going. To bring joy, to bring laughter, to bring joy into the world by way of our own personalities, by way of our children, by way of people we see and know. In every way it becomes a conduit to the heart.
