Lovely car, I've a 2009 358, BUT one thing to be very careful of, idling that diesel for long periods, the 2.7 in the 358 and 3.0 in the 351 (almost the same engine) can end up dumping Diesel into the engine case oil if the DPF filter blocks and an easy way to do that is either idling for too long or constant short journeys where the engine fails to reach its nominal temperature...
