If the carbon tax has no effect economically, and is truly revenue neutral, then why did the Atlantic provinces get a pass on having to pay it whereas Saskatchewan was told to suck it up & pay their fair share? As for the P.M., it's typical of him to shift blame to others.

If the carbon tax is revenue neutral, why is GST added on top? The government is making a tax revenue (the GST) on every cent Canadians pay. Tax on tax is just more tax. We Canadians are way over taxed, and it has to stop! The federal government spends our tax dollars like a drunken sailor? Thanks premier Moe for standing up for Saskatchewan.

Even an $infinity/ton carbon tax in Canada for 100 years wouldn’t yield any measurable changes to the climate. Seasonal fluctuations in atmospheric co2 would amount to more then our greatest possible carbon sacrifice. Roughly 6ppm, or 5 years of Chinese emissions.
Unnoticeable and pointlessly cruel vanity.

Jenica Atwin speaks to the Paris Accord reports as if they are ultimate authority, astounding to watch someone give no consideration to the fact that each of these reports only investigated a handful of solutions. The fact that you are leaning on incomplete data is relevant, have some humility and take the concerns of your lowest class seriously. I’m begging you.
