Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe spoke for the first time since Sunday’s deadly stabbing spree that left 10 people dead across 13 crime scenes in the province, expressing concern for those impacted but said he had "no doubt" law enforcement would find the suspect.

Police continue to search for 30-year-old Myles Sanderson, one of the suspects. Police say he may be injured, is considered dangerous and should not be approached.

The body of the other suspect in the attacks, 31-year-old Damien Sanderson, was discovered outdoors in a grassy area on the James Smith Cree Nation on Monday, not far from one of the crime scenes. Police have said Myles and Damien Sanderson were brothers.

Moe also addressed what he would say to those in the international community whose attention has turned to the province, asking them to "extend your heart" to Saskatchewan people but "in particular' those who lost someone in the stabbings or who have a loved one injured in hospital.

Since Sunday morning, police have been scouring Regina after a report the two suspects had been seen in the city, and Regina Police Chief Evan Bray says the search for Myles Sanderson will continue until he is located.

As an adult, he (Myles Sanderson) racked up 59 convictions for assault, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, assaulting a police officer and robbery.

*59 Convictions!!!* Why was he not already in prison? How many convictions does he need to have before he gets locked up? If they catch him now, will they lock him up this time?

this is a premier? sounds like a spokesperson reading off a script without emotion. he could easily be speaking about food or economy in this tone, rather than about a massacre

Scott Moe actually spoke YESTERDAY about the stabbings for the first time, while he was out in a field lifting crops - but you just go on and make up whatever fits your story, Global News.

Mr Moe please keep another violent offender in the same area behind bars! Arrested for a knife attack and they want to release him back in to the community.

“Every child matters”
I’ve yet to see proof of this for living children.
Start by being parents, teach kids to be respectful members in society and watch how the community improves for everyone.

It’s really simple.

Not many cops left in Saskatchewan for the manhunt as they were all diverted to Alberta to help investigate the “Potty Mouth Affair.”
