This Animation Technique Works Every Time

A breakdown of my favorite transition technique, Match-Cuts. I show how they're used in editing a film making, and how we can take that as animators and use them in Motion Graphics using After Effects. I show how I've used the method in my previous personal projects, and commercial work and how the students of my advanced animation course have used them to great effect.

I work as a 2d animator for a company (completely self taught just with youTube - I am totally aware that animation is a super sophsticated art form and that I am still a BEGINNER, even though my company thinks I am an expert. (haha) )... I just found out that I have already used this technique intuitively. But now - as I am aware of it - I will use it more conscious. Thank you for that!
