Amazing performance! Erroll is the reason I ever considered learning jazz on piano (seriously). He's one of my greatest inspirations!

You smashed it – also the piano adds character in a way. Erroll's playing can make an out of tune piano sound amazing and your touch replicates that effect. Kind of eerie. Also Erroll was on top of the world in 1958 artistically so it is only appropriate to use a vintage piano from that era.

Usually when I see a cover like this I expect someone who just learned the notes from the transcription but this was actually exceptional. You got the timing and the rhythm down really well in addition to the sound of this performance.
