Was on the 1st flight of my life, lady behind me insisted i pull the blind down so she can sleep, proceeded to just chitter chatter with the lady next to her for almost an hour and i pulled the blind back up so i can see (i was very excited to be flying and i was alone ) she proceeded to kick my chair and tell me to shut the blind im like “you aren’t sleeping, i just wanted to see its my first time flying! I’ll look for a bit and then pull it down”
She called the stewardess and complained the stewardess then asked me to pull the blind down so the lady can sleep …so i did… the old bag never once shut up her yammering and didnt even attempt to sleep at all, the whole flight..
Next time i get asked this the immediate response is going to be “go fuck yourself” regardless who or why.

I look out the window the entire trip. My forehead is on the glass. I don't get how people can not be amazed by whats going on outside the plane unless its super bright with just clouds below.

I suffer from extreme motions sickness, I have to have the window open and watch outside if I don't want to puke my lungs out. That's the only way I can combat my extreme nausea. Someone touching my window blind would set me off.

I sat in a row that had lopsided windows, so they were not evenly distributed throughout the seats. I was really disappointed by it as I paid for a window seat. I asked the woman in front of me if she could open her window, and she gladly did.

As a pilot, I get a view that most people do not. Still, if I'm on an airline flight, I have a window seat for a reason and the shade never goes down! There sure as hell wouldn't be a "please" coming out of my mouth!

Carefully place your elbow on the tendons of the hand... Push with side to side movement. Use other hand to open window.
