Steps to Fix Origin Games Error The VC++ Runtime Redistributable Package Was Not Installed Successfully. Setup Cannot Continue (1602)

Step 1) Run dxsetup and vc redist files
C:\Program Files (x86) \Origin Games\GAME TITLE
Step 2) Disable origin in game overlay

there is no direct x folder on battlefront 2, there is also nothing in the vcredist folder

I am so fedup of these companies making crappy installers, because...I no longer have hair as a result to the endless amounts that ive pulled out

for me, I uninstalled vc++ 2015 and installed it again before it worked

The problem with me was the antivirus. Turn it off, install the game and then run the antivirus.
