Prediction Error Apex Legends - EA where are the answers? PC Origin

SMALL FIX below - so far so good!

Prediction error on new and old computer - still happens every 4th or 5th game..

Apex legends PC - through origin.

My solution has seemed to work - I downloaded Nord VPN but i'm assuming you can download any VPN - believe you have to pay for it though. Since i've done that, i haven't received the issue. I received the prediction error yesterday for the first time, disconnected my VPN and reconnected my VPN while ingame, it logged me out due to no connection and reconnected straight into game withotu the prediction error.

Normally if i have prediction error and reset my computer it will still have the exact issue.

You are the first person to actually have an answer. I'm going to try this, I really hope it works. Also glad to know I'm not the only one experiencing this with Season 13. Every other video or post is from years ago. I've been playing apex for less than a year. Never had this issue until about a month ago. Geofilter helps, but very hard to get a match, and then stay in that match until the end.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE, because after all my research, I can see how this would help. I'm starting to believe Apex literally targets certain players IP address depending on how many times you leave a match early, spend money on the game, toxic in the chat, etc. Then they put you in a lobby based on those factors.

I was really bad at the game, so I looked to get carried sometimes. So I'd stay. When I got better, it would kill me to watch my level 23 teammate sit in a corner and wait for the fight to be over. So I'd leave. I didn't know this was taboo. It happened to me so often I assumed it was kosher. I started noticing I wasn't getting full squads about 3/4's of the time. A concerning amount. And the 1 v 3's were starting to get really hard for no real reason. Shots just weren't doing the expected. Character models were starting to get choppy. So I did some research and started watching my videos very closely. Then I noticed every fight I would get into would have this "prediction error", sometimes even accompanied by one of the other 3. Then I started noticing every single match I joined into would start with this prediction error in the top right pretty much for the whole duration of the drop ship.

^ for anyone who may be skeptical, this is my personal experience.

Just an update - i've bought a VPN and seems to be working fine since i've done this ill update again shortly.

I only get this bug when I alt-tab before a match or during the initial drop phase of a match. If you get the bug it's basically GG, you can shoot accurately if you stand completely still but that's it.

Is your VPN solution still working? I've been getting high ping, latency, prediction error and other connections problems when I play. I don't lag in other games. It's so infuriating and making me pull my hair.

i get this often and me and my friend both call it 'THE stutter bug' because it happens so often. we're both on steam and its so annoying with no real answers

I love this game, but I am constantly getting prediction error, I upgraded my internet and tried to find answers. When I am having really good games prediction error kicks in and I die. It makes the game almost completely unplayable to the point I stopped playing the game. So I started watching streamers instead.
