How to Convert NTFS, FAT32 or exFAT without Losing Data

Watch this video to learn about FAT32, NTFS, and exFAT file systems. How to convert a USB drive, a memory card or an external hard disk from one file system into another and back, why you may need it, and how you can do it without losing data.
If you have a small card or drive, format it into FAT32; exFAT is recommended for larger flash drives, and experts say it’s not so hard on the media and extends its lifespan in comparison with NTFS; meanwhile, large external hard disks should be formatted into NTFS.

Watch the video TWICE before formatting your drive. The 1st method he shows you is what NOT to do! If you're not paying attention you could lose all you data.

NOTE: You will loose all your data if you follow the first instructions blindly. If you are clever you will transfer the data that you have in your USB in another device, preferably your computer then follow the guys instructions to convert to FAT32 to NTFS which formats the USB then transfer back all your data to your USB including the large file that was refusing to be transferred. That is all.

I have a sdcard in my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I want to copy files to it that are bigger than 4GB which can't be done. If I format a second SDcard to exFat can I simply copy everything
on the Fat32 sdcard in my samsung phone to the exFat formatted card and then swap out the cards and expect the cell phone to work as it did before. The Samsung spec states it is compatible with exFat ?

This video is a scam and even the first method is exactly the opposite to the title. You will lose your data is if you use the right click -> format option. The command prompt does work only to convert to NTFS, but not to exFAT. And the rest of the video is ad for a questionable software. Let's report the video to take it offline.

Is this worth doing? I'm seeing comments explaining how "it doesn't do anything" or they lose their data. I have a SSD 2TB exFat external drive with 300GB free, so majority of it is used, I need to convert it to NTFS for programs like NI Kontakt and other things that need a constant flow of memory. I doubt it, but does this work for external SSD? I can NOT afford to lose my work, and won't budge until I get a 100% yes.
