At Unite 2023 we introduced Unity 6, our next major Unity release.

In the keynote, we showcased Fantasy Kingdom in Unity 6, a stylized environment that showcases the latest capabilities for rendering, lighting, and scaling richer worlds, with significant performance improvements. The kingdom comes to life through the use of Adaptive Probe Volumes that deliver more immersive, natural lighting scenarios and foliage details through enhanced SpeedTree integration. Hardware-based optimizations and boosts in performance are unlocked through GPU Resident Drawer, GPU Occlusion Culling, and the Spatial-Temporal Post-Processing (STP). This demo is a modified and expanded version of “Fantasy Kingdom” by Synty Studios.

This demo scene looks insanely gorgeous!
It definitely goes to show how you can make Low poly assets look truly beautiful, it's all in the lighting and post processing.

Looks nice, but for me, I would like that when you write about a rendering feature, you show a difference of when it's on or off. Otherwise, if you do not know what the feature actually does it just becomes a buzz word.

I feel so proud seeing this! My first successful release was with Unity, and it broke my heart to see the hole it fell into with the bungling mismanagement. Glad Unity is finally on the right path again!

So many residents - what about NavMesh? Do we get some multihreading there so we can build RTS Games?
(PS: "GPU Resident Drawer" seems to be for static meshes only, not NPCs)
