This is our heat pump running flat out. You can hear the road the other side of our house before you hear the heat pump!

Are heat pumps noisy? Mine isn’t!

Hey Tom I have no heating or hot water at the moment, my vaillant heat pump is saying Compressor Blocked Flow Rate Too Low, 320 l/h building circuit flow rate is that too low for a 7k unit? Do you know if maybe it's a strainer issue

How is the sound level compared to the carrier 38mura models?

Are you sure you're not in electric boiler mode? What's the temperature difference in the air in and out, humidity before and after, and the air volume flow?

Hi, I need your help. I live in a terraced house. The unit is planned to be set up close to the fence on the patio. On my right hand side luckily I have neighours with a few meters recessed compared to me patio door. So it would sit close to the fence but not near their patio door or windows. However, I wonder having a small garden and being in a terraced house with fences either side if it is something “sensitive neighbours (on the other side of the more distant fence - about 5 meters away) might really have or give me a pain with..? I am receiving support via ECO4 so I can’t really pick and choose. It will be the Baxi HP50-11 unit which seems I was told a bit more noisy than the mistubishi ones.

Before you buy into this idea, on a really cold day turn your Boiler heating down to approximately 45c and see how warm your house is!! If it’s warm enough for you then a heat pump might be ok with bigger radiators and more insulation. You won’t save money going forward as this guy has shown.

Definitely can hear my neighbours newly installed one running all day, all night. It's very annoying when I'm sitting in my garden trying to read. It's scared all the birds away too! Just imagine the massive joint hum when these are on every house in a closely built neighbourhood. Nightmare.

try a classic heat pump... the one without the inverter board you replaced 3 times already
