At around 2:30 am this morning, I was literally going out of my mind, when I came across this post! Omg, what a wonderful find. It instantly calmed me down and allowed me to rest for the rest of the night. Thank you very much.

This is my 5th night straight (I keep dozing off lol) listening to Ms. Elizabeth read. She is my absolute favorite storyteller. I've actually been excited to crawl in bed and relax. Thank you for this soothing and lovely video!

Its now 2.30 am so, instead of thunderstorms and rain, I'm going to try the original way I used to fall asleep. A child's bedtime story. Something that takes you away from your real world.

I, very much, hope this lady knows that, in her way, she has made the world a better place. God bless, and thank you.

Awww my middle name is Elizabeth.

Your voice reminds me of my late grandma's voice. She was British. Especially in her younger days.

May she RIP, I miss your grandma. So much. 😢😢😢❤❤❤

Oh my. What a lovely, perfect voice you have for this story. I do hope you do some of the other Oz books, such as Return to Oz. It's my favorite in the Oz series. Thank you so, so much for this video 🌌💜

It’s about 3:45 in the morning. Can’t sleep, got insomnia, got anxiety, got minor (visual and tactile) hallucinations, etc. I’m going to try this and hope for the best, hope I can actually sleep. I enjoy children’s stories, so hopefully this will work well.

My favorite movie of all times since I was a kid. I’m 63 still my fav. Brought it on DVD for all my grand kids. I have trouble sleeping. TY Elizabeth your voice is so soothing. I have fallen asleep within minutes from listening to you. Love this one so much. I have listened to it repeatedly as I’ve tried to follow up with the story as well. Your voice is magic it knocks me out. 😉😌🤭🤫🥱😴🥰

A magnificently narrated story. A far cry and a cut above the 1939 movie. Not a criticism of the film but a tribute to the spoken tale and all the nuances in each characters development. I have been spinning yarns and oral history and relish the facial reactions and questions a well told narrative can generate.I love listening to these stories.😢
