The US has to understand that setting foreign policy in finance markets and the pentagon is a mistake. The US is not the only player in the world. The world is connected and this policy pushes China and Russia together. If India joins that alliance then the US will be the isolated one. NATO as an alliance is not relevant. Talk to Russia.. There are bigger issues at play. Not having a livable planet is the problem that must be resolved.

While invading a country is not the way to solve a problem (and the US has a long history of this); China is very much aware that the West conveniently neglects to mention that Putin acted in response to NATO's moving towards his borders. The Chinese are smart enough to see the big picture, try as the West may want to continue to push half a story. Unfortunately for the West, the rest of the world is not that dumb. If Nelson Mandela is still around, he will be standing next to Putin, just as Modi and Imran Khan, can you imagine two enemies actually standing with Putin on this matter.

Well, different to Russia where only accounts for 2% of world economy, China is an economical superpower, accounts for 20% of world economy, sanctioning China may well backfire on your face, not to mention if Europe and Japan follow or not.

When you say the world, you mean the west. Look at India, South Africa, Pakistan, Brazil etc. They have the same view on Russia Ukraine conflicts. By the way, they are not tiny countries.

What world are the US policymakers in? Last I checked the American business get a huge amount of their goods from China. Also the pressures on China already have them becoming more adept in production. At current points it will be harder for the west to keep up with Asia. India will likely lean toward China Russia as very good potential for business as adding Indian tech know how to their neighbours will likely accelerate them well ahead of the US. Here in the US our Gov. Media and poor education of the people are and will create more problems for the country. For too long out so called leaders have t hought only of themselves at the expense of wider society.
