My heart breaks for anyone affected by war in Ukraine, Palestine, Yemen, Somalia, or elsewhere. As an American, it is both hillarious and depressing to see the US media pretend we still live in a uni-polar world. LIke "What do you mean we can't do genocide anymore with impunity!? And what's this? Other countries protect their own national interests without regard to the preferences of the US?" Whatever the hell is going on, the United States is not going to win, and frankly, deservedly so. US wars have murdered upwards of 12 mllion people since the end of WWII.
