Light Painting Photography - introduction

Introduction to light painting photography. This video is part of a full online masterclass Light Painting Photography (link below). In lightpainting we use a hand held flashlight to paint in the scene. While the camera sits on a tripod a long exposure records the light we paint in with a hand held flashlight. With this techniques it's possible to create very complex light compositions that are impossible by any other lighting technique. It's a very fun and creative style of night photography. A camera, a tripod, a hand hold flashlight and the right skills is all you need. No need for expensive cameras, special lenses or big studio lights.

Hello, I am really impressed by your lightpaiting pictures, I would also like to try :-) Unfortunately my English is very bad. I downloaded the image where you show the apertures for the corresponding light lumens, but unfortunately it doesn't say anywhere what exposure time you're using. Would it be cheeky to ask you if you could give me a little tip? Maybe how long to shine the lamp on the subject and what exposure time you use? I would be very, very grateful.
