What a ridiculously beautiful board of wood!

I have some beautiful 1/4-sawn sycamore that I've been using extensively for a couple years now — milled & dried it myself! Great wood in my opinion, though it's quite different sonically and genetically than maple, for which I think it is often mistaken. I'm a self-taught luthier: caught the disease maybe 4 years ago and have been happily afflicted ever since — would jump at the chance to have a mentoring session with Tom —improvement in tone, nuance, cosmetic detail, etc. is really what I'm interested in. Thanks for your channel!
