I have twin uncles, but they aren't identical. Then my niece had fraternal twins. But she not only has it on her maternal side, but on her father's side as well.

There's lots of twins in my family (mostly fraternal). I used to think being a twin mom would be great. They all seem to get along and they seem like a big happy family. Living the exact lifestyle, down to same haircuits, diets, etc is a bit strange, but to each his/her own. I like my space, wouldn't want so many people in same space with me, doing same things, etc. Would become frustrating to ME! What is more confusing is the children will grow up saying they're siblings, have two moms, two dads...just because parents are twins and live together. Hope their life keep being full of love and happiness though!

I was wondering if they are also mirror image identical twins too until it was mentioned. I have fraternal twins myself. My great grandfather is an identical twin, and we have several twins in the family.
