I actually love the effect the third act had on me. It felt like it dragged... but almost intentionally? It felt like the story had ended and snow was entitled to a happy ending, but as a result of his actions he could only try and fail. His corruption killed his happy future, and sent him back to the capitol.

Catching Fire was easily the best film in this franchise. I'm not big on the other ones either but I remember really enjoying that one and I'm actually looking forward to seeing this at some point.

The original hunger games trilogy has actually aged well, IMO. I personally think catching fire is an excellent film.

Personally, I enjoyed this movie and a lot of people say the third act really dragged a lot but personally I didn’t really see it that way. I many sure it did feel like it could’ve been its own movie by itself. But I didn’t mind the pacing and the story it was time to tell.
