Why are you suggesting to create a SWAP partition? Fedora moved away from that several versions ago and now uses zswap.

After I install, it boots to grub command prompt.

Problematic, because no Btrfs subvolumes were created, which is required by Timeshift, if you want to use snapshots instead of rsync.

If someone would like to make /var partition, how much size someone should give to it?

Hello I have X360 HP Spectre with 1 TB ssd nvme.
I have windows 10 occupying 500 GB.
I want to know the best partitioning layout for fedora 36 on the remaining 500 GB free space.

* Why I should create a partion /boot/efi but not just /boot?
What is the difference between them?
* My memory is 16 GB and I am not planning to do hibernation so can i skip creating a swap partition? if not what is the ideal size for it? I've seen some create it just 1 GB.

What is best size for my / (root) partition knowing that I am going to install lot of programs and libraries because I am a C++ and Qt programmer? is making it 150 GB good?

Thank you so much in advance
