William Tyndale is my 12th great uncle. His niece was my 11th great-grandmother, and wife of my 11th great-grandfather Dr. Rev. Rowland Taylor. Both men were martyrs of the Church of England; with Dr. Rowland Taylor’s wife, and several of their small children, put to death by order of “Bloody” Queen Mary I, on the same day as Rowland Taylor; 9 February 1555. May their souls rest in peace. My family descend from Rowland Taylor’s eldest son, Sir Thomas Taylor.

You should handle such book with care and attention and like a 21st century magazine. Cotton gloves, a page turner, a cushion and a table is the tools needed

Funny thing....I flunked English.
Probably because I had a French women, with a thick Jewish accent trying to teach it, to me.

Tyndale's translation was so good that 70-75% of the OT and 90% of the NT of his bible were used to print the KJV 1611. So, the KJV bible is pretty close to the Tyndale version. 😃

PLEASE make facsimile copies of this treasure. You will still have the original, but many Christians can also enjoy it.

The important thing is to read it and practice what it says because it is the living word of God where it is taught to love God and hate idols as false religions teach

In an adjacent video there is a description of a "Tyndale Bible" that was on exhibit at St. Pauls Cathedral. That book appears to be somewhat smaller than yours. I pray that you sell your copy to someone who will be able to guarantee the safety of this book for eternity. I am convinced simply by listening to you that you would accept a lower price if it meant a more secure owner/location. That is the true meaning of "priceless".

I was wincing with the way he handled that book. An extremely rare piece of history. He was not being particularly careful considering its age and condition. No gloves worn for a start. Really was a shame to see such shoddy care. Should be in a national museum.

Just a pedantic note which I can't resist: If it's priceless then it will be difficult to agree on a transaction of sale. Just saying.... ( ;

I would love to just be able to buy a simple photocopy of the page that contains Romans 8 so I could frame it and put it on the wall. I wonder if someone does that.

Not a scholar or an expert, but in my opinion that is not the way one handles a priceless book. At least wear a cotton gloves and put it in a cushion and place it in a table whoever wants to do a documentary or to show in public the Tyndale Bible.
