And I do really agree that Birthday Girl is a good summer read. Especially because of all the scenes that take place by the pool. It just gives warm weather vibes.

On the Island is such a good book! I read it about once a year, but usually when it's cold out so I can drift away to a warm location!

Yay this is perfect for me atm. I go on holiday next week and am sorting through what will be a good summer read for relaxing on the beach/by the pool...and for my plane journey! I think the Unhoneymooners is definitely my number one choice for starters! that's what I want to get stuck in to!

I just finished The Unhoneymooners today and it was so funny. I read most of the books and I agree with the recommendations: Birthday Girl is still my favorite romance of all time; and I still think about On the Island daily- it wasn't perfect, but it does make you think about it a lot.

Hey, gabby! Newish viewer, so first time commenting [well, since, like 2 apartments ago. yes, I watch your vlogs, too!]. I am stunned how good I have my reading down for this summer rec list. About 5/9 ratio! Woo-hoo!

I have 3 of the 9 Not Read ready-to-go by the end of this year - Birthday Girl, Autoboyography & On the Island. The last two are due to your constant rec and, of course, your Romance-athon coming up for buddy-read. Hey, I read Birthday by Meredith Russo solely because you gushed so beautifully and I wasn't disappointed. I kind of shot myself in the foot with Sun Is Also a Star. Big Little Lies & Jenny Han's books because I tend to NOT read the books if I've seen the movie/TV adaption first. I think it's mostly because I always devour books LIKE I am already watching a movie, so...yeah. I am on-the-fence about Aristotle & Dante and also Summer of Salt as much-hyped books [especially from a lot of booktubers] can kinda sour me until I FEEL like I am READY for certain popularized books...if you know what I mean. But, the offer can be on the table to change my mind...

Before I jump-the-shark, I just adore you and all of your content, but especially your vlogs. I'm officially addicted to, and enjoy, your whole entire family and friends/co-workers...but, mostly stay for your Mom and Phoenix.
