Spyderco Amalgam follow up

It turns out that this knife is alot tougher than it looks. It is definitely on our list to buy.

I absolutely love my Amalgam, amazing knife that always gets questions asked when I bring it out. My only qualm with it is the light detent. I’ve had it come open in my pocket a few times it’s so light.

More people need to get on the band wagon & try this knife. You made an excellent point this knife doesn't look like most of the other Spyderco knives. It takes what makes Spyderco great but puts it in an exciting new frame that just slices. Oh the wire clip is a great Idea 💡

If it made it through Zebs torture test in one piece then it's a good one! Not only in one piece but in perfect condition. Also, don't feel bad about your nails. It's expected from someone that plays with knives. 😉

You and Peter have been flipping it. Zeb abused it as only he can do. JB says he thinks he can do it because it has been worked for some time. You need to give it to him to see if he can Spidey flick it and close it using only the compression lock. Then say he has to do it live on SKL think that will make him nervous enough to fail or will he do it.
Really liked the review and I have been thinking about one of these. Guess I will either have to wait and save or just sell something. After seeing all this it is becoming a must have.

Man that’s a cool knife. But at almost 9” open length, too big for my taste for a folder. But it’s def a sweet looking knife. Lots of folks will want it.
