MLAPI Tutorial: Part 3- A Simple Menu

Показать описание
Welcome back to the third part of the series.

In this vide, we create a really simple menu to replace the buttons on the NetworkingManager component in the inspector. We look at the NetworkingManager Singleton for how to do this and add code to start as a host or a client.
As an added bonus, we make sure the menu disappears after we click a button and the local player makes the mouse cursor disappear.

I only have network manager not networking manager, they are the same script just when i press the button instead of turning off the ui and changing cams and giving me movement it just spawns thousands of errors that say: NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Is it possible to do it with changing scene? If so can you tell me how to figure it out. I am struggling with it.

So I guess allowing the guest to connect to a Host on any given IP address would be a minimum to make this functional across different PCs but we do tend to skip over this part here.
