Good advice. Very well analysed. My advice, is learn some European language (German, French or Dutch) either apply for masters or a job & Relocate to Europe, getting a citizenship is easy, also you have opportunities to invest in market world over. Your retirement, medical care and education of your children is taken care by the govt. Plus if you love vacations & adventure no better place than Europe. Enjoy life.

I moved abroad not for the money or career, I moved mainly to live in a western developed country with good quality of life, lifestyle and a access to better infrastructure. I am happy with the move i made.

Hello Akshat,
Really enjoy your LinkedIn & Youtube snippets. Really insightful. Keep 'em coming.
Also, as someone working in the USA, I absolutely relate with the point of 'belongingness'. Everything might be perfect here, but I still miss Delhi; the street food, metro, people, local haunts etc. I know many people in India might think I am absurd, but these feelings only emanate once you are far far away from home.

Love the new editing style! I feel that the more modern type of graphics are great to attract the attention of people from a younger demographic

Very balanced in all aspects. I have struggled and settled in US. The first 3-5 years are a challenge financially and socially. How ever it's the easiest place to be a millionaire.

Real happiness is all about 'you'. You decide what brings happiness to 'you'. You can go and settle in mars & still be sad. Figuring out what gives you true 'happiness' is the only thing you need to take care of. Nothing else. Peace!

In New York your getting 130000 is as equal to get 85000 in a normal second tier city in US, being in US for 10 years + I can easily say if you reach US in IT field you can easily make between 5000 to 6500$ monthly after tax and easily save half of it with a quality life style, similarly in Canada ( but 1000$ less plus value of cad is also less ) the challenge is to reach US and to stay here long term till you get a GC . But in a city Like Bangalore or Hyderabad it was hard to save 25000rs monthly after all the expenses . I am not talking about high exceptionally skilled people I am talking about normal IT guys .

I studied in Belgium and got a job in Germany, since i knew German. Learning local language, really helps :) Germany, Netherlands and Belgium have good opportunities. You could also travel to all 27 EU countries without any trouble. For example, in Germany, you get a PR within 3 years, if your salary is above a specific limit..!
There are job vacancies in Europe in almost every profession you can think of. We just need to learn the local language, that's it!

I belonged to the last category where I wanted to work for a few years and return (which I did) to be with family. I left a high paying job in US and an extremely comfortable suburban life to work at a startup in India. IMO the amount of work that you need to put in for the kind of lifestyle offered in India is totally NOT worth it. Planning to move back next year. Fingers crossed!

Honest advise mate. Do what you are good at. And of course we like you a lot and your insight. Keep away from topics which aren't your core competence

Working abroad is awesome if you are working in Middle East. No income tax, even US stock market income is not taxed. High quality of life. And india is few hours away. Lots of Indians are there in Middle East.

Wow Akshat! Your channel is growing really fast! It's barely been a couple of weeks since you posted your 300k celebration video and you have already hit 400k. Congrats on that! And I am really loving your videos. Keep it up!

Every single point is bang on! Regarding the expense aspect, one thing I would like to add which I was not much aware of when studying abroad. You can get scholarships in the colleges abroad which do help. Else many colleges offer an in state tuition (lot less than regular fees) incase you do a part time job on campus like a teaching assistant or research assistant. In a few cases your fees are fully paid too.
I have studied in the US and have been working for the last 6 years and honestly I think I made a good decision for myself. It really depends on what do you want in life and what makes you happy! All the best! I hope you achieve everything that you aim for! ☺️
