The first time I heard your beautiful music, was late 1988 I was with my wife in her '79 Toyota SUPRA, out riding home from grocery shopping. This is San Antonio, Texas, and my Rock Station 99.5 KZEP, the DJ said "turn it up"! I ignored his words, but it seemed the radio went silent..but then I could hear a piano slowly plinking, and a lot of low chatter, and Im Twisting the volume knob up on the radio, but damn man, when that long slide up and the volume was SOFREAKINGBIG and then your voice. The first words you ever spoke into my ears..crystal clear, strong and vibrant. I'm lookin' at my wife bug eyed and mouthin' "WTF"??!!??!!"

Thirty three years later, and there's always one of your CDs nested in the Alpine ready to make my ride awesome. And, as you cover All the bases, I love Only To Fly. I ONLY KNOW THIS CHRIS, IF I COULD PLAY AN INSTRUMENT, AND IF I COULD WRITE THE WORDS TO A SONG, AND IF I COULD SING, I WOULD NOT CHANGE A SINGLE WORD, OR A SINGLE NOTE PLAYED FROM ANY OF YOUR INSTRUMENTS. In 1997 I was introduced to your music by a man named Bryan, just a few short months after my Mother died. Bryan and I ended up falling in love, and we spent 20 glorious years together. We listened to your music all the time. _However, _ the love of my life died unexpectedly from a pulmonary embolism that killed him instantly in Feb. of 2018. As much as I love your music, every time I hear it I start crying because I miss Bryan so deeply. I look forward to the time I’m able to listen to your music and think about the wonderful times we had, instead of being so sad.
