This case is so unbelievably sad and senseless. She seemed to have really understanding parents who would have supported her no matter what. A luxury that a lot of young people don’t have.

Of course he doesn't want his daughter to be held responsible for what she did, but if it were some random person who killed his wife, he'd want them to pay the price. Its clear that she knew what she did was wrong, and was cognitive enough to try to cover her tracks before and after the murder. Definitely NOT legally insane. She needs to be held accountable just like anyone else would have to
