My parents kiss each other goodbye before they leave for work, when they get home from work, and before they go to bed. Definitely not for 7 seconds, but I feel it really does keep things unified between them. Hope I can I have something similar one day 😀

I used to date a girl who didn't like to be kissed. In a couple of months I found out her parents never were very affectionate and kissing of course was a very awkward thing to do for her. We didn't get any further and we decided to part ways. She was a nice person though however I'm a person who believes that showing affection is fundamental to create bonding and keep nurturing the relationship. Perhaps there are people who can keep a relationship without this but not me.

Married for 27 years and absolutely no daily kissing. We stopped doing it many years ago; now i am super conscious if there’s a little random touching. I miss those days and I definitely don’t want to pass it to my kids. I do think it’s super important to maintain touching and kissing as a daily routine.
