Today I take a look at the new head-to-head and Adventure/CoOp or Solo game from Modiphius based on Bethesda's Elder Scrolls universe: Call to Arms!

You roll the damage dice with the skill test dice. This is why some weapons have green dice. It represents their accuracy when attacking.

NOTE: This whole solo series has me forgetting to roll the Weapon dice along with the Skill dice. It's not a huge deal as I'm consistent across the whole game (so it effects everyone evenly), but this is a rule from Fallout that is the same in Elder Scrolls.

To my memory, you roll all the dice at the same time. Special effects on damage dice that give you another accuracy die can turn a miss into a hit.

I pre-ordered the game. Looks really fun. Loved the tutorial mission, it's a great way to learn the rules while you play. Excited for the official terrain sets too.

Great stuff as ever Ash. Might want to re-visit the Attack/Damage rules before next playthrough; you don't need to roll seperately for the Skill roll and then the Damage dice. Just roll the white alongside whatever the weapon card says (plus any boost) then apply it all as one thing. Significant for how often the Green dice is involved.

Thanks for showing this Ash. I had some good fun Fallout for a little while, but it just became so oppressive to play- all the tokens, measuring sticks, weird rules, cards, book keeping and so forth just made me give up on it.

Hi Ash. Great playthrough and glad you are enjoying the game. The brown card that you mentioned is for tracking monster activations is actually the Thu'um tracker for the Dragonborn's shouts. She regenerates on point of Thu'um per turn, and you can spend 1, 2 or 3 points per Shout. Thx G.

What a great tutorial they created to bring the game mechanisms into play. I cant wait for this.
