After my first set, I just use 1/8" thick flat bar for the mounting plate. Interesting approach with the inset idea. I make a CAD model and take the angles from it, then cut the corresponding angles. Good work. Subbed.

I have a stupid question...I'm a woodworker not metal worker...and I can make live edge tables all day...but metal legs...well...you get the idea...I seen you just spray painted the legs? Won't they scratch over time? Is there another process because if I'm making say a few k dining table...and paint scratch? Well...it wouldn't be pretty. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
