finally! i spent forever looking for a video that actually teaches the practical knowledge to shoot dialogue with one camera. every other video just mentions shooting wide shots and close ups etc etc but not how to sync up the audio and video properly

THANK YOU THANK YOU for this!!! Something they didn't even teach in school back in my time I have a film coming up and I was like you know what imma shoot one camera and just have them do each others parts separately. Then I googled to even see if I was dumb or not.. Thanks... I'm not dumb, actually smarter than I thought LOL. Yea I want to record separately. Also the differences you showed actually breaks it to be something on a tv, or in a movie sitcom. The spacing actually gives it a tv feel while the other version puts you right there next to the register LOL. Awesome stuff!

I'm 58 years old and I just retired and one of the things I'm doing is starting a YouTube channel and I want to do interviews of different people aviators yachtsman things like that but I also want to try and get into acting and also making some of my own very short very small films and I cannot believe what you just taught me!

You just taught me that a ton of Hollywood B movies could be way better if they were just edited by a professional!
You took what sounded like a typical Netflix B or c production and just with editing alone you made it actually believable!
You went from one edit where it actually was horrible sounding and very staged to actually being believable!

I'm absolutely flabbergasted!
And I consider myself a knowledgeable film buff!
I didn't know how important editing was and how important it is for the director and the DP to give the editor what he needs or she sorry
