We’ve seen that shoddy claim before — it was part of the groundwork for Trump legal adviser John Eastman’s effort to overturn the 2020 election. But now, that coup may have found its legal theory with the right-wing court. Leah Litman and Adam Serwer join Mehdi to discuss.

It's time to get rid of, or at minimum, reform the Electoral College. As i understand it, the 'elector system' was implemented to protect the votes of parts of the population who were isolated from voting places. Namely, the wilderness. However, with modern communication tools like the internet, this is no longer a reason to even have an 'elector' system. 1 voter, 1 vote. Get rid of the Electoral College. It's NOT an accredited institution!

No electoral votes. It's absurd that a candidate who gets the most votes can loose
