Hello everyone
Nodal account is a special purpose account created for receiving funds from participating banks and remitting to specific merchants. These accounts are created as per the nodal account guidelines issued by the RBI.
Meanwhile, an escrow account in India is a bank account with conditions on ownership of funds. Simply put, an escrow account is like a safe house for assets while the transaction process is still ongoing.
I read Nodal Account As Nostro Account.

Mam in the 1st HW question, statement-A is wrong as directions do not apply to all banks but only to banks working as BBPOUs. Am I right?
And why statement-C is wrong mam? COUs are the ones who provide interface. Please explain.

I have a doubt- What is the difference in roles (debit & credit part) of an escrow account of BOU and COU? Is it something like the customer payment is credited to escrow account of COU and from there credited to escrow account of BOU and finally credited to biller?
I mean, how do the escrow account of BOUs and COUs work together performing the same job (as given in the ppt)?
