The Economic Capital Framework provides a method for determining risk provisions and profit distribution requiring the RBI to pay profits to government after different provisions. So as per ECF, the CRB to be maintained at 6.50% of the size of balance sheet for this year 23-24.

hello i have a doubt regarding CRAR, capital conservation while calculating CRAR do we include capital conservation buffer? CRAR required for private banks is 9% & public sector banks 12%

does it also include capital conservation buffer of 2.5%? But when we add CET1, AT1, AT2 theb it comes 9% and for private banks CRAR is 9%, , , so do they not maintain capital conservation buffer?

public sector banks, min CRAR=12%, , , , after removing CET1, AT1, AT2, , , , we have 3% what is thus please maam please pleaseee tell these, i couldnt find in internet nor in edutap
