Depression isn't the problem. It's what's causing the depression that needs to be addressed. So long as the root cause isn't addressed, Depression will never truly ever be resolved.

I found out yesterday that I have to get knee surgery cuz I have floating bones. It was from an accident at work. Now I can't work and I'm broke. I'm thinking about doing clinical trials so I can buy a car. This is the poorest I've been. My dad doesn't care about me but I've learned to accept this. My sister isn't there for me either. I could get more sympathy and respect from a Walmart cashier than either one of them. I hope to get through this and get my real estate license. Big hugs from Dallas, Texas!

Hi Douglas., I believe everything you said but I’m having a terrible time having hope. I have struggled with depression for decades, and it just gotten worse and worse over the years and now I have GAD. Its just gotten worse especially after my concussion. Nothing is helping I can’t even work or look after myself anymore. I’m supposed to be on a list for magnetic therapy and if that doesn’t work electroconvulsant therapy. When ppl say have hope this isn’t forever etc my reply in my head is you don’t know my case if it’s gets much worse I fear for what could happen.
I think it’s true you have to find out why ur depressed and everyone has a different idea on that subject. I have Fibromyalgia and that’s one cause, there’s Nutrition, vitamins and mineral or hormonal imbalances, gluten, past or present traumas, head injuries, pre or post partum, mental llnesses, and even some medications will make you feel depressed or even suicidal. WHERE DO U START? Of course with a phyciatrist but they just put you on meds, and I’m Med resistant. I’m paying 200.00 a session for a Phycologist and neither are really helping. It’s a very long scarey dark lonely rd. and I wish no one ever had to go down it, I honestly don’t think I will ever be rid of it. 😐

Hi Douglas my doctor put me on 50 mg seroquel after the 3rd day Im fatigue and feeling hung over..I'm not sure how long to keep it up.. Ive order your book but it will take about a month from the US.. It's been 2 weeks.. The seroquel makes me feel sick and really hung over..i lay around because of the fatigue

Hey Douglas, I really appreciate your videos it gives me hope. I'm 23 years old and I've been suffering from depression due to the fact that I am sexually repressed. It may may sound silly but I just find it frustrating that I am unable to find someone I can be intimate with. I've been feeling really lonely and worry a lot about the future and can't get enough sleep. How can I be more positive while being haunted by societal expectations???

My state is not temporary. 4 years im in depression. I think i have brain damage after 15 years of Effexor. I will ever heal my life is over
