She’s fully right though, and that’s a serious problem. A LOT a lot of our society is based off there being more young working class than old retirees. If this trend doesn’t change and soon, Medicare Medicaid social security and a bunch of other things the elderly take for granted WILL disappear within our lifetime. We as a society NEED to make it cheaper to have kids. It might already be too late but that shouldn’t stop us from pushing for better policy that rewards two parent households with 3+ kids!
