ok, ok the outside performance is similair. but on the g4, you can change a LOT of things to make the picture more beautiful.

Omar Carrington  - beauty mode is off. I don't mind it though - It looks fine to me.  A little smoothing isn't terrible. I'm glad there is a switch to turn it to [LOW] or [HIGH] And thanks for calling me fair. when people don't agree with me, I'm a fanboy. lol!  and yes the GS6 is still POTY. Only phone I see taking that one is the iPhone 6s or the Note 5. I'm really pumped about Note 5 tho!

I think the G4 can make up for that sunset lighting with a software update. Both are fantastic devices, but I like having a removable battery and SD expansion. The G4 also will be more durable. When I hold an S6 it reminds me of an iPhone 4, in that I had to treat it with kids gloves because of all the glass.

In the end this is turning out to be a great year for Android.

awesome review! S6 selfie cam smoothed out your forehead wrinkles which is nice, but LG G4 keeps it real, and overall that means sharper images.

Great review kevin. I liked the g4 camera more since it gave a more color accuracy in images (I noticed a bluish tint on the locker image in s6). Except for taking quick snaps, I'd be using manual mode anyways so g4 gives more flexibility in that area. G4 did a better work with front camera with more details since the s6 one has a smoothened the image and it looks very artificial.

Glad to see the S6 camera is still rocken it, and Samsung has said the next update to the S6 will have manual mode like the G4.

The audio on the S6 seems significantly better...or am I just imagining that?

People tend to gravitate towards more "punchy" colors, which is where the s6 comes into play. Lg is more natural tone and color replication is basically the equivalent to what the eyes naturally interpret colors.

Good video, it is worth mentioning the cost difference. It's frustrating to see the huge disparity in pricing, but if you can compare full retail cost it might help people make an informed decision.
