This is a presentation on some of the more advanced book launching strategies I use to keep my books selling long-term with no marketing. I ramble and get distracted but there is a lot of content in here - this was the practice session and I'll be giving a speech on this at an upcoming conference in Austin. I'm so glad you put this out DM you've answered the question I've been trying to figure out where to ask. It's the whole "Established platform" vs. "No platform breakdown. There's a lot of info out there and it's so easy to get confused as to where to start. Once again, I'm amazed but appreciative that you're sharing this all for free.

This is absolutely the best video on this topic on the internet. And it still doesnt cover every detail, which comes to show theres so much to the process when ti comes to self publishing. The switch from draft to digital to giveaway to then relaunching on KU sounds like the craziest method. Thats the one that interests me, but at the same time I kinda scared of kindle publishing and amazon. their zero tolerance is a bit much.

This is the single most helpful and insightful, comprehensive guide for launch strategy I've ever watched. I watched it in 3 sittings, because I realised how good it was after five minutes and I had to dash into work. Honestly, this one video has earned my subscription. You cite actual numbers, money, goals, etc. I am so sick of vague 'Get mailing lists '' when I am wondering 'how many should I aim for, what is the best subscription attracting method?' All of which you just thoroughly and insightfully explained. Like holy shit, this was fantastic.

Thank you very much for giving us such detailed steps to launch, it clearly outlines the need to do what is necessary to get your book in front of others. It gives us all a reality check and takes us out of a magicophenomenalistic mindset (this isn't magic or just about passion) and any delusions of what it takes to really make it happen.
