A good tip for Airdry clay you can use water to smooth out cracks and edges as well as bind things together
(Not sure if you did it in the video sorry)

yoo, easy way to smooth clay out; any cracks or hard edges can easily be fixed w a water and glue solution (mix the 2 up)!! to attach pieces, you can use vinegar. as it makes the clay more sticky to be able to attach (unlike water).
