Great review, would be even better if you showed how it is without the removable layers for a hot day ride. Not complaing though.

Love the look of this jacket, but I wish that it had metal snaps down the front, instead of Velcro. That is a deal breaker for me.

Between Carve Master 2 and Sand Urban which one would you choose for touring purpose? Cheers

Trying to decide between this jacket and the normal Sands 3. Most of my riding is in the Sport Touring or commuting on a Triumph Sprint ST. But I would really like to have a 3/4 Jacket inside of a short one. Riding here in Germany I need the 3/4 season functionality. Does this have the wrap around zipper for the pants as well? And is it mostly just the level of Armor protection difference, and the shell material? It almost seems like you are getting less jacket for more $$.
