Hi Beth, I 100% agree with your list of indispensable summer staple wardrobe pieces! I love wearing cotton tees all summer - teamed with a lightweight sweater or blazer so I don’t freeze to death in air-conditioning. Linen or a linen-cotton blend is my fabric of choice for hot weather shorts and slacks - and I don’t mind a few wrinkles to feel comfortable. You are so skilled at pulling lots of details together - your outfits are so polished and classic. Thanks for the inspiration!

I truly love a great white tee shirt but I am a fan of Pima cotton or tee with modal. Both fabrics hold their shape, endure after many wears and is recommended by top designers. Great video Beth.

I would add a long-sleeved, buttondown shirt in pure linen or linen-cotton blend. Great as an open shirt over a tank or tee, or over a swimsuit or lightweight leggings if it's long enough. I shop the men's dept. for these shirts. I'm tall and have long arms and broad shoulders for a woman, so slim-cut, tall men's size large shirts fit me well. Love your style!

Just two remarks on two topics...

I found "my way back" :-)) to white jeans..
I had avoided them for a longer time, and I didn't know why. They are fresh and go literally with every top.
So.... What did I dislike?
I have watched myriads of aged ladies every summer, who wore white trousers, either leggings or very baggy pants, both not very flattering. Their tops were often gaudy, sometimes wildly patterned or adorned with other details which were... How can I put it cautiously??
The opposite of a classic style.
You helped me getting rid of these images.
Now I wear white jeans again and feel well in them.
***second point. In Germany we have the chance to buy garments by Landsend via mail order. Which I do quite often.
The bathing suits are great!
Good quality, nice design, fitting well.
And you try them at home, not in a neon illuminated cabin of a department store... :-))
