Hello Professor Biezen,
I've seen different versions of the electric charge integral, some going from "t_o" to "t" or from "-infinity" to "t" and the one you showed here from "0" to "t". My question is what is the difference between all of these formulas? Are there certain cases where a different version of the formula is used?

Electrons go with the Flow.... lol .. someday.. perhaps... Electrons will figure out a way for electrons to bunch together like Protons do in a Nucleus. Makes you wonder what a Group of Bonded Electrons would do, what kind of Strong Force would hold them together... and why don't Neutrons help bind Electrons Interesting Questions.... now back to Electron flow!... How can one calculate the value of electric current passing through a wire with the help of I= dq\dt . To do this one has to count no of electrons passing through a particular point in certain duration of time, which is impossible to count. I think it is just a theoretical concept has no any practical importance isn't it sir ?

Consider how asinine and hidebound the terminology is in electrical engineering when your professor has to spend the first several minutes explaining why and (less convincingly) how we still use antiquated, wildly incorrect terminology, and that we don't really mean what we say in EE. Jaysus. (Calculus is actually worse in this regard, so... enjoy?) (--None of which to say that MvB isn't as good as it gets wrt science lectures.)

why teach on the mistaken concept of conventional current? You yourself said "the real current" is electron flow. So why keep teaching a falsehood?
