There is a constant battle between BI and IT over data. BI needs to get crucial business insights from the data FAST but can't get to it due to limited data sources and poor system performance. IT struggles with data silos, costly system administration and a tightly coupled compute and storage. Instead of an elaborate office pranks war, much easier to get Snowflake!
